The primer is a whitey gel like formula which feels very light on the face and doesn't make your skin feel cakey at all. The primer claims to smooth, resurface, brighten, mattify and protect. It definitely did make my face feel really smooth to apply my make up onto and definitely made it last longer than it usually would as most of my make up has usually rubbed off by the end of the day. It made my skin more shine free than it would usually be, especially around my nose area where I get the most oil.
Overall, I think this is a great product to have in your collection, it may not be as good as some of the more expensive brand primers, but you get what you pay for and this does its job well.
